Verbal Identity

EICC’s verbal identity is a composition of our mission, vision and key messages, as well as our brand’s voice and tone.

The Eastern Iowa Community Colleges Name

The institution’s full name is Eastern Iowa Community Colleges. In most cases, the full name should be used on first reference. Once the identity of the institution has been clearly established, or if it is self-explanatory, refer to the institution as EICC or the college.

About EICC

EICC was founded in 1965 and includes Clinton, Muscatine, and Scott Community Colleges. Together, we serve the region stretching along the Mississippi River and across Clinton, Jackson, Muscatine, and Scott counties, with portions of Cedar and Louisa counties.

Each year, more than 12,000 students choose EICC — on campus and online — to move forward, gain skills, and make a difference.
